About the Tournament

The biggest event of the year

Sneaky Cat Pickleball’s Ultimate State Showdown – “Battle of the Border” is where rivalry meets elite competition. Delivered in partnership with Pickleball Australia, Pickleball Victoria and Pickleball NSW, this is a State-of-Origin–style interstate clash designed to crown one champion state.

Tournament FAQs

Who can play in Battle of the Border?

Players must:

  • Be a current member of their state association (Pickleball Victoria or Pickleball NSW)

  • Be selected by their state association or qualify via the Wildcard Playoff

  • Be available for both Gender Doubles and Mixed Doubles

  • Provide proof of residence and current DUPR rating

How do I enter?

What is the refund policy?
  • Registration is confirmed only once paid via Pickleball Brackets.
  • 50% refund available for withdrawals until 5pm April 10, 2026.

  • After this date, 50% refund is only available with a medical certificate.

Australian Masters Cup

The Australian Masters Cup (AMC) is Australia’s premier national pickleball league created especially for players aged 50 and over, offering an inclusive, club-based competition that’s as social as it is competitive. Over a 10–12-week season, participants compete in local ladder play, progressing through regional and state levels with the opportunity to represent their state at the national finals.

The Dink Minor League Pickleball

The Dink Minor League Pickleball at Sneaky Cat Albury is a fun, team-based pickleball event where squads of four (2 men, 2 women) compete. Each matchup includes gendered doubles and mixed play with tiebreak “Dreambreaker™” excitement. Open to players of various DUPR divisions, the event blends competitive spirit with social fun.

The Murray River Classic

Our annual two-day pickleball tournament – The Murray River Classic is kicking off for it’s second year. At the state-of-the-art Sneaky Cat Pickleball venue. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or new to tournament play, you’ll find a division that suits your level, with multiple brackets by age and skill level, including Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles across multiplr brackets.

Paddles on the Murray is a sanctioned Pickleball Australia tournament held at Sneaky Cat Pickleball in Albury, NSW. Bringing together players from across the country, this multi-day event offers competitive play in a lively, indoor all-weather setting with dedicated courts. Whether you’re chasing a ranking or just enjoying high-level matches, Paddles on the Murray is a standout event on the Australian pickleball calendar.

How do I enter?

Each tournament has specific entry requirements unique to that tournament, while some may be similar they are not all the same. The best way to know is to click the link and read the Tournament Description on Pickleball Tournaments website, it is listed under the details tab. If you’re unsure, just reach out!

What division/bracket am I in?

To check your assigned bracket start by opening the relevant tournament on Pickleball Tournaments and click the events tab. Unsure? Give us a call or send us an email. Please note brackets may merge to ensure there are enough players per bracket per pool.

    Sneaky Cat Pickleball is located in the of the Albury & Wodonga region.
